Good start for Prayad at Senior PGA Championship

Prayad Marksaeng, 51, carded a two-under-par 70 at the opening round of the US$ 2.8 million Senior PGA Championship.

In his second appearance at the tournament, Prayad made four birdies and two bogeys to at par-72 and 7,693-yard Trump National Golf Club , Washington,D.C.

He shared 15th with 24 players while Germany's Bernhard Langer took a two-shot lead on 65.

The 156-man field will be cut to the top-72 and ties after two rounds.
