Pavit has four-shot lead going into Singha Championship Final Round

 

Pavit Tangkamolprasert holds a four-shot lead into the final round of Singha Championship after carding a 5-under-66 at the par-71 Rayong Green Valley Country Club on Saturday.

 

With a three-shot advantage after the second round, Pavit yesterday fired a 5-under-66 with seven birdies and two bogeys to lead on 17-under-196.  The 27-year-old from Bangkok moved four shots ahead of the chasing pack led by the 2016 Rookie of the Year winner Chanachok Dejpiratanamongkok. Channachok, who posted a third round 67 with five birdies and one bogey, was second on 200 at the second event on the All Thailand Golf Tour 2017.

 

Pavit bogeyed at 1st and 4th but he regrouped to make seven birdies including six birdies from 5th.

 “It is quite tough for me. In the morning, I have food poisoning and feel really exhausted,” Pavit said, adding he was not sure if he could finish third round.

“I got a poor start with two bogeys and the turning point is when I fired six birdies in a row. I am a bit lucky in some holes.”

 

 Looking for his first title of the year and the cheque of 300,000 baht at the 2.2 million baht tournament, Pavit said that he needs to take the rest as much as possible to get well prepared for the final round.

 

 “Hopefully, I am much better tomorrow.”

Pannakorn Uthaipas (68) was three strokes down further on 10-under-203 while England’s Simon Griffiths (70) was on 9-under-204. With eight strokes behind the leader, Griffiths would find it too tough to catch him and become the seventh foreigner to be successful on the All Thailand Golf Tour.

 

Thanpisit Omsin (68) and Udorn Duangdecha (69) sat tied for 5th on 205 with nine strokes behind the leader. Former champion Chapchai Nirat made a 70 for 7-under-206 and tied for 7th with Pasavee Lertvilai (67) and Wuthipong Seehapunt (71).

 Thanyakorn Khrongpha was on 6-under-207 following his 68 with Prayad Marksaeng (70) being one shot behind.

 

 Defending champion Namchok Tantipokhakul fired a 69 for a 4-under-209. Danthai Boonma, who hopes to win three consecutive titles on the tour, posted a 69 with five birdies and three bogeys. He was at joint 19th on 3-under with the likes of Pawin Ingkhapradit (69) and Gunn Charoenkul (67).

 

 In the women’s 54-hole event, the title went to Myanmar’s Yin May Myo who closed with a 74 to win the tite by three strokes on 5-over-218.

 

 The 21-year-oldl, became the first foreign golfers to win in the women’s event on the All Thailand Golf Tour, took home 32,000 baht. Chommapat Phongthanarak (74) was second on 221 and Pinrath Loomboonruang (73) third on 222.  Chommpat got 25,500 while Pinrath earned 20,000 baht.

โดยล่าสุด เมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 25 มีนาคม ชิงชัยในรอบสาม ประเภทชาย "โปรใช้" ปวิธ ตั้งกมลประเสริฐ นักกอล์ฟวัย 27 ปี จากกรุงเทพฯ ผู้นำสองวันแรก เริ่มไม่ดีนักออกไปสี่หลุมแรก เสียสองโบกี้ หลุม 1,4 จากนั้นเก็บหกเบอร์ดี้ติด ที่หลุม 5-10 ก่อนมาได้อีกหนึ่งเบอร์ดี้ หลุม 14 จบด้วย 5 อันเดอร์พาร์ 66 รวมสามวันยังรั้งจ่าฝูงด้วยสกอร์รวม 17 อันเดอร์พาร์ 196 โดยมี "โปรแต๊ป" ชนะโชค  เดชภิรัตนมงคล สวิงดาวรุ่งจากจังหวัดตาก ที่วันนี้เก็บได้อีก 4 อันเดอร์พาร์ 67 จากห้าเบอร์ดี้ หลุม 1,2,4,10,14 เสียโบกี้เดียว ที่หลุม 16 ตามเป็นที่สอง สกอร์รวม 13 อันเดอร์พาร์ 200 ส่วนที่สาม "โปรฮาย" ภันกร อุทัยพัฒน์ สกอร์รวม 10 อันเดอร์พาร์ 203

 

ปวิธ ตั้งกมลประเสริฐ ผู้นำหลังจบสามวัน กล่าวว่า "วันนี้มีอาการอาหารเป็นพอพิษตั้งแต่เช้า ทานอะไรไปก็อาเจียนหมด คิดอย่างเดียวจะเล่นให้จบ 18 หลุม สี่หลุมแรกออกไปตีไม่ได้เลย เสียไป 2 โบกี้ จุดเปลี่ยนสำคัญคือหลังจากนั้นก็ได้ 6 เบอร์ดี้ติด ที่หลุม 5-10 เพราะโชคและจังหวะทีดีทำให้รักษาสกอร์นำไว้ได้ คืนนี้จะแอดมิทที่โรงพยาบาล คิดว่าพรุ่งนี้คงดีขึ้นครับ"
